Desanders are employed to remove soil particles in drilling muds and support slurries. HEMCO desanding plants are available for both piling and diaphragm wall applications and with slight modification, a desanding plant used in diaphragm wall work can be adapted for desanding of slurries coming out of piling boreholes.

HEMCO manufactures following types of de-sanders:

• HDP-100 for use in piling works where small volumes of slurries need to be processed.
• HDP-250 for piling and grab based diaphragm wall applications where relatively large volumes of slurries are to be handled.
• HDP-500 for trench cutter based diaphragm wall works. The HDP-500 plant comprises of a combination of one pre-screening unit and two sets of HDP-250.
